Nameless Numberhead ft. Petty Couch & Very Hypnotic Soul Band

After a summer hiatus, Nameless Numberhead is back this month with a new show at Theatre 99. Joining them for a night of comedy and music will be the boys of The Petty Couch Podcast and a Very Hypnotic Soul Band trio.

Tickets are $8 in advanced, $10 at the door
Purchase tickets here: https://goo.gl/syPspq

NAMELESS NUMBERHEAD is Maari Suorsa and Henry Riggs, a character driven sketch comedy show about you and the weird routines and habits you exhibit everyday. Self identified as surveillance chic, Nameless Numberhead exposes our obsession with voyeurism of the mundane. www.numberheadcomedy.com

THE PETTY COUCH PODCAST is stand-up comics Hagan Ragland and Jon Antoine talking shit and being petty. The two hosts, with their sound guy Brandon Bair, interview local comedians, crack wise about local topics, and just hangout on air for an hour of target-destroying humor. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-petty-couch-episode-7/id1175918736?i=1000386106778

VERY HYPNOTIC SOUL BAND is an alt R&B and hip hop group from Charleston, SC. Formed initially for Charleston Music Hall's Hi Harmony community concert in the wake of the tragedy at Emanuel AME Church, the band members came together less in a conscious desire to make music and more with the sense that this type of music was needed.

Sorry Not Sorry does The Terminator

Get ready for a night of improv comedy inspired by the iconic 1984 sci-fi action film, The Terminator.

Using music, quotes, and themes from the movie as inspiration, we will create one-of-a-kind, comedic scenes, guaranteed to make you want to protect Sarah Connor from a leather jacket-wearing, monosyllabic cyborg.

The nationally renowned sketch group, Nameless Numberhead, will guest perform. Charleston Scene newspaper describes them as, "cheerfully spazzy and stylish...both youthful and wise about their art and delivery."

Our cast includes graduates of the Upright Citizens Brigade (NYC), People's Improv Theatre (NYC), The Groundlings (Los Angeles) and Theatre 99 (Charleston).

Dusty Slay & Nameless Numberhead in St. Petersburg

Dusty Slay is a stand-up comedian with a baritone voice so smooth it’s like champagne in your ears. Dusty’s walks you through a childhood in the trailer park, his adult years in the workforce and as an occasional blackout drunk. He thinks skunks smell like weed and leaves the serious topics like race, religion and politics up to someone who, unlike him hasn’t drank gas out of a water hose.

Nameless Numberhead is a sketch comedy duo based in Charleston, SC. Their show is a character driven satire about you and the weird routines and habits you exhibit everyday. Self identified as surveillance chic, Nameless Numberhead exposes our obsession with voyeurism of the mundane. It's a lesson on society you won’t want to miss. Unless you do want to miss it, in which case, that's fine. Live your life.

RIP CITY: XVIII

Rip City is Charleston’s favorite monthly variety comedy show that takes place in an art gallery. It's a claim so specifc, it has to be true. This summer, we're teaming up with PULP Gallery and Bookstore for their summer “Stir Fry LIVE” Series.

Each show is completely different featuring a rotating cast of comedians, musicians, actors, poets, animal handlers, nudity enthusiasts, and anything else that might lean more on the experimental side. You never know what you'll see at Rip City but odds are you’ll be very entertained. Probably goes without saying but leave the kids at home for this one.

This months Line Up TBD

Tickets are $5

Doors at 9pm | Show at 10pm
